Another Year gone by

I know, I've been terrible for not keeping an updated blog, but the truth is I didn't have the time, and to be honest, i didn't have the patience. LOL. Love all you guys, hope we get together soon. SUMMER time is coming....enjoy the weather. BBBBBBBBBQ...hmmm.

I happen to think that I have the best bunch of cousins, any guy can ever ask for. Families are the best!

"Even though I owe my success to the internet, I'm glad that internet didn't exist when I was a kid, i probably wouldn't have spent as much time with all my great cousins!!"

Ooops...now it's my foot

I 'll be ok, but you know life is just too rushed sometimes. lol. (ooooh my foot.)

The other night I was in the living room, getting ready to leave to Yorkdale Mall.

My wife was already out the door, and I went to turn the computer off.

Suddenly I hit the glass display case, bumping it with my arm as i passed, breaking the door in half, and having it land on my foot, pinky to be exact...

It didn't bleed at first but as soon as I took the huge glass out of my foot, well it was like a river.
I later found out it had gone right through...doctor said,"You did a pretty good job."

Accidents happen, I received 6 stitches, and it hurt pretty bad, but it'll just take sometime to heal.

Everyday

I recieved an email today and thought I'd post this...

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll cry
because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you
love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've
never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of
happiness you'll never get back.

Something to think about...i guess.

I'm back, but I'm not sure I'll stay

Hello everyone, it's been awhile, and I thought it was about time (and so did others...lol) that I should write another blog....

Oh, by the way, yes....my back, and neck still hurt. (more so my back)

I'll never beat Linda, or Nadia on there blogging, "Queen bloggers!!" I can't even keep up with reading them, nevermind writing them. Still it's really nice being able to read what your thoughts are all about on a day to day basis, or like me once every couple of....oh you know what I mean. It's summer, and rather than spend my time in front of the computer thinking of a subject to write about, I'd rather take care of my yard, water the grass and flowers, enjoying the warm weather, talk to the neighbors....anything to get out of the house, cause cometh the cold, we all back inside for the winter....then you'll see some bloggin goin on! or not...lol.

Bottom line blogging is just great, cause one way or another we continue to communicate, even if some of us have time or not....it'll be there to read.

Saturday's memorial service for Tia Alcinda was very nice, and I believe it was just the way she wanted it. Her wishes being that the family get together afterwards for some food and socializing was all about Tia Alcinda, she loved that, and I could see she was most happy when alot of the family was around. Even that sunshine coming through those grey skies in the backyard, made me think that she was happy to know we were all together there. We'll all miss her dearly.

I'll be writing another blog again soon...
...if it rains, then I won't go outside.

My Neck, my back...

Well it's been about 4 weeks....since I've screwed up my back, don't really know how just got worse over a matter of 3 days...damn fustrating sometimes because it always reminds you when you turn a certain way. We all take our health for granted, and I guess I'm a big baby too, no one enjoys pain. (ok, some people thrive off it(weirdos, lol)...not me but I can live with it, somewhat.) I only took 3 days off, and continued to work while getting treated by my Chiropractor.

Yesterday I get up, and now my neck and shoulder hurts, from sleeping wrong....man I'm feeling all these damn pains....am I getting old? Ah, now it hurts here....

The Chiropractor's office.........I found parking, slowly got out of my car, walked standing as straight as possible towards the front door, and almost bumped into this hard working, sweating, muscle bound, construction worker. There taking the sidewalk apart on College Street, and this guy got in my way. A very handsome guy, named Louie (so many variations of typing your name.) Nancy would probably find him cute. Well we shook hands, he was very busy. I climbed over a couple of two by fours to get inside, crack...crack....ah....oh...ah. Feel better....not totally.

I'm still working on my back, and will try to get much needed rest.

Men are mammals of the family Suidae

Ok, it seems alot of men are pigs.
That's including:
1.) your father or grandfather
2.) your brother
3.) your son
4.) your nephew
(Good news Andrew, Rob(Nadia), you are now classified as a pig, oh me too, but I've been called a pervert enough to know that.{Edite})

I know first hand that being gawked at can be uncomfortable.
On a trip to Boston, my wife and I walked into a Burger King, to use the washroom, and a GUY was gawking at me, and started a conversation, asking where I was from. (Ontario plates) I didn't (know that Boston's known for that)hang around to find out but he followed us to the hotel and asked if we wanted him to show us around.(spooky fellow)I
felt uncomfortable more because it was a man staring at me, and being across the border, made it feel worse(another country). That situation made me understand better what a woman might go through, but in retrospect if it was a woman gawking at me, I would have felt ok with it...I ended up walking away with my head held high, embracing my wife. No man was going to have me. LOL

Summer is here, winter coats, sweaters, and scarfs are going into the closet. All of a sudden, women walk around wearing almost nothing sometimes, and don't expect to be gawked at. Sex is in, everything is about sex, it's everywhere. Women buy clothes to attract men. They put on makeup, to attract men....and so on.
I wonder if some women get dressed in the morning and think, "I wonder if anyone will like what I'm wearing today." Who do you want to look at you, just your husband? Maybe a burka is meant for you.

This is a very controversial issue, and nothing will ever change. Men will always look (unless they are blind), and there will always be a woman embracing the fact that theres a chance they'll be gawked at. It's only human to be that way. Dogs smell eachothers asses, and if they could talk to their bitches they'd probably say,"Nice ass, want to go to the park and shit?" LOL.

If they look for a split second, as they pass you, you don't know if they are single, or looking, or just admiring your looks. NOW, listening to comments and gazed by a man is really rude, even if you are desperate, you should never disrepect a woman...and I'm totally against it, but there are some party girls out there, that love it. I've been to March break in Daytona Beach, enough said. I say, you don't know the woman, you should say nothing.

My wife and I have had our differences when it comes to this topic. I use to be the jealous type, but I soon realized that trusting her in the relationship was very important. It took along time for her to share my belief. It got to the point where no matter where I was looking, I was looking at a woman. Things have changed, I wear blinders now, makes it hard to drive but I manage.

You said it right at the end -just ignore them, put your head high, be proud and smile knowing one thing.

Their looking at you because you are HOT!!

We all want what we can't have....
...and I don't mind scratching my balls, as long as I am not on the rag.

Reaching Out

I was reading Ben's Blog and thought of an article I read, that talks about using the Blogger to publish opinions expressed in a country where it is forbidden to do so.

It's incredible how we take our freedom for granted, as simple as typing an email, and talking openly about your opinion about something. Imagine that all being taken away from you.

There's at least one place in Iran where citizens dare speak their minds. It is referred to as Weblogistan, and in this rapidly expanding virtual terrain, there are an estimated 100,000 active Iranian blogs. Persian now ties with French as the second most used language in the blogosphere.

Iranians generally use pseudonyms online to discuss taboo topics and criticize the government in a way no other news outlet would allow. Even some high-profile politicians have joined in, such as President Mohammad Khatami's former Vice President, Mohammad Ali Abtahi, who offers candid insights into the Iranian government on his blog, accompanied by photos taken with his cell phone.

But crackdowns are always looming. More than 20 online activists were detained last year for several weeks and beaten for antigovernment criticism. In response, dozens of blogs have sprung up offering instructions on how to remain anonymous and circumvent government filters. With the June presidential elections approaching, some bloggers are campaigning for a boycott, while others support reformist candidates and argue for participation. Weblogs are one weapon, that even the Islamic Republic cannot beat.

No wonder they want to come to Canada.
